Jing works as an in-house research analyst and manages analyst relations at Alibaba. Prior to her role at Alibaba, Jing was a distinguished research analyst at Li & Fung and worked for the United Nations. Jing attended John Hopkins University for her Masters in International Economics & China Studies. Jing grew up in Wuhan, China.
CO-FOUNDER, LAUREN DAI 戴成欣
Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from Harvard University with a degree in economics. Her research was honored by the Harvard Kennedy School. She previously worked at CCTV in Beijing. Lauren has engaged extensively with China through her roles at Goldman Sachs and Stripe. She is now the Co-founder and COO of Cocoon. Lauren grew up in NJ, U.S.A.
CO-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, FOUNDING COACH HANNAH SHEN 沈赫赫
Hannah graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Government. Hannah currently is the Head of Global Growth & Product at Mask Network and an MBA candidate at the MIT Sloan School of Management. She previously led Business Development and Partnerships at Run The World, an a16z-backed virtual events platform, and worked on strategy, BD, and product operations at an early-stage media tech startup. Hannah grew up in Shanghai, China.
FOUNDING COACH, ALICE HAN 韩思琪
Alice graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in History and a master’s degree in East Asian Studies (China) from Stanford. Alice is currently a research analyst at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, a public policy think tank promoting the principles of individual, economic, and political freedom. Alice grew up in Sydney, Australia.
PROGRAM COACH (S22), Jacy Zhang
Jacy graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with a dual degree in Business and English. She is currently a volunteer teacher in Kashgar, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. A year later, she will return to SISU for her Master of Comparative Literature. She is the "Shanghai Outstanding Graduate" and candidate for "Person of the Year in SISU". She founded a poverty alleviation project called ChunZhenHeLan to drive China’s most promising wine region into the international market. She also participates in several Chinese high-level innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and won awards. Jacy now has an ongoing passion for diving, marathons, calligraphy, and literature.
PROGRAM COACH (S22), Amy Guan
Amy Guan is a Product Manager at Facebook, where she's worked on the Health Technology, Communities, and Commerce teams. Prior to Facebook, Amy built and led the marketing team at Benchling, a startup accelerating the pace of life sciences research, and was an equity research associate and strategy consultant. Amy grew up in four countries (China, Australia, Canada, US) and lives in San Francisco. Outside of work, she loves stories, spending time in nature, and hanging out with friends. She is very excited to be part of GenDream!
PROGRAM COACH (S21), ZACH LI
Zach works as a senior business analyst at Manbang, the top company in logistics truck-hailing service in China. Prior to this role, he worked in Suning International and Amazon Global Selling, mainly responsible for strategic planning and incubation. Zach graduated from Shanghai International Studies University and grew up in Nanjing, China.
PROGRAM COACH (S21), KATE YUAN
Kate works at Alibaba Cloud's BD and Partnership team in the bay area. Prior to joining Alibaba, she worked as the operating partner at an early-stage VC fund and as an early business hire at two self-driving startups. She sits on the board of Ideation Labs, a nonprofit accelerator for entrepreneurs in remote regions.
PROGRAM COACH (F20), SERENA LI
Serena is currently on the Startup Growth team at Stripe and works with entrepreneurs to help them scale their businesses. Previously, she was a management consultant at Accenture and also co-founded a medical device startup, CleanSlate UV. Serena was born in Wuhan, China, grew up in Toronto, Canada and studied at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
ADVISOR, HANS GALLAND 葛灵汉
Before becoming a startup founder in California, Hans spent 15 years with Chinese and US investors working on cross-border acquisitions and joint ventures. Hans graduated from the Stanford GSB and EHL in Switzerland. He also serves as co-chairman of GlobalSF / ChinaSF. Hans grew up in Baden-Württember, Germany.
PROGRAM COACH (S22), Hikari Senju 千住光
Hikari Senju is Founder & CEO of Omneky: Hikari Senju studied Computer Science at Harvard with a focus on AI. While at Harvard, he founded an edtech startup which was later acquired and where he became the acquiring company’s Head of Growth. In that position, he saw how much money was being spent on inefficient content. Utilizing his background in AI, he saw an opportunity to quantify design and generate creative content to increase Return on Ad Spend. In May 2018 he founded Omneky, an AI platform that generates and optimizes personalized ad creatives at scale. Omneky’s mission is to empower human creativity and democratize growth with AI.
PROGRAM COACH (S22), Cissy Ye
Cissy works in management consulting helping companies solve problems, improve their ways of working and how they operate. She is currently working with a non-profit education organisation in the US to improve teacher retention and has worked in the past in the public and private sector. Cissy grew up in Sydney, Australia and studied Business and Media at university.

Jason is a serial internet entrepreneur with the mission to create a positive impact for the world through human capital empowerment. After graduating from Boston College, Jason started his career in sales at New York Life Insurance Company. From 2008 to 2009, he worked as the social media strategist for the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium, the nation’s premier CIO event for technology executives. In 2010, Jason moved to Silicon Valley and started Talent Basket. As the founder & CEO, Jason supports global youth development by building a platform to provide free digital upskilling, career advice, and connecting students to career opportunities worldwide.
PROGRAM COACH (S21), DANA SUN
Dana is a Senior Associate at OCA Ventures, a Chicago-based early-stage venture capital firm investing in highly scalable software and service businesses. Previously, she was a finance manager at Genentech and a management consultant at Accenture. Dana holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and an M.B.A. in Finance & Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Dana was born in Shanghai and grew up in Minnesota.

Kristen graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Computational Neuroscience. She currently is an Associate Technical Product Manager at Cengage, an ed-tech company in the US. Prior to Cengage, she founded a Y Combinator-backed fintech startup (W20).
PROGRAM COACH (S21), MIKE YANG
Mike graduated from Hamilton College with a degree in Mathematics and Economics. He then worked at NERA Economic Consulting as an analyst for three years, conducting quantitative research and analysis in the context of antitrust litigation. He will be pursuing a master’s degree in computer science at Stanford University. Mike grew up in Beijing, China.
PROGRAM COACH (S19), SOPHIA LU 陆瑶
Prior to becoming a professional, Sophia worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and a management consultant at Accenture. She is the co-founder of Merit Education, an educational social enterprise based in Toronto, and has led numerous trade missions to China. Sophia grew up in Wuhan, China, Tokyo, Japan, and Toronto, Canada.

Jerry is a software engineer at Google and was previously a software engineer at Microsoft. He is currently a volunteer AP Computer Science teacher and has an Electrical Engineering degree from Harvard University. Jerry grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.
PROGRAM COACH (S21), YIDI HONG
Yidi currently works at LinkedIn as a Product Designer in San Francisco. Prior to LinkedIn, she was a UX Designer at eBay and at two startups, and studied HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) at the University of Michigan. Yidi was born and raised in Zhejiang, China. She is currently passionate about Yoga, entrepreneurship and sustainability.

Jeffery is a recent MBA graduate from Harvard Business School and studied mechanical engineering during his undergrad at UIUC. His past work experience includes management consulting at BCG, Program Manager on the Surface team at Microsoft, and chief of staff at a manufacturing company in China. Jeffery grew up in Qingdao.

Maggie manages strategic partnerships at VIPKid, an international education technology company. Prior to her role at VIPKid, Maggie led University partnerships at Beijing-based bike share start-up, ofo. Maggie graduated from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
PROGRAM COACH (F20), MIA DENG 邓格格
Mia is an investor at Dragonfly Capital (dcp.capital), a cross-border crypto/blockchain venture fund with headquarters in Beijing and San Francisco. Before that, she was the Head of Business Development at Amber Group (ambergroup.io), and a Product Manager at Mobike. She graduated from Wesleyan University with a dual degree in Psychology and Computer Science. Mia grew up in Beijing and Santa Cruz, California.
ADVISOR, DEBORAH WEINSWIG
Deborah Weinswig is CEO and Founder of Coresight Research, a research and advisory firm specializing in disruptive technologies reshaping today’s retail landscape. Coresight Research has a global presence spanning the US, Europe and Asia, including deep expertise in the fast-changing China market. Weinswig serves on the board of directors for Goodwill Industries NY/NJ, GUESS, Inc., Kiabi, Street Soccer USA, Xcel Brands, Inc. & Retailers United. Weinswig is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
